Games whenever you want a game

Bridge, cards, puzzles, word games, mahjong and board games in one place, played in your browser with nothing to install - with friends from anywhere, or against the computer when nobody else is about.

As a visitor you try a range of our games against the computer, with no account. Registering gives you one account for every game and every club - and once you have registered, whenever you come back you simply sign in.

The games

Bridge

Bridge for four, from anywhere: with friends, or the computer in any empty seat - bidding SAYC, ACOL, 2/1, Precision or Polish Club. Practice tables of your own, and duplicate sessions scored by matchpoints or cross-IMPs.

Cards

Hearts and Rummy, the computer in any empty seat, and thirteen solitaires - Klondike, FreeCell, Spider and ten more - each with a computer player for a hint, duplicate deals and leaders boards.

Puzzles

Sudoku, alone or racing friends at a table: gentle, moderate or tough, a new one whenever you like, each with one solution and never a guess.

More about the puzzles

Word games

Wordgrid - words across and down from a rack of seven tiles, against friends or the computer - and crosswords set by each club, solved alone or together.

Mahjong

Mahjong solitaire: the tiles laid out in layers, cleared a matching pair at a time - five layouts of our own, every deal one that can be cleared, a computer player for a hint, and leaders boards.

The centre

Clubs of their own

Each game is played in clubs - game rooms - each run by its own administrators, with rooms of its own for its tables, its own news, and its own members.

One account

One login for every game and every club. Join a club as a guest from the lobby; its administrators may make you more.

Play from anywhere

Start a table or sit at somebody's, with a password if you want one, and chat with the others at it. The computer keeps any empty seat.

Keep up

Every club and room has its own blog, and the notices you need to read reach you wherever you are in the centre.

Try before you join

The Visitor room has a taste of the centre's games to try against the computer, with nothing to sign up for.

Friendly bots

The computer players have names - Botty, Botkin, Botley, Botwick, Botilda and Botsworth - each with a robot's head beside it, so you always know who is a person and who is not.

Have your say
